Opsgenie
Purpose
Loads on-call data from Opsgenie: the account, teams and their members, users, and on-call schedules with the team that owns each one.
tip
Secret fields below accept either an AWS Secrets Manager ARN or a value pasted directly into SubImage's managed vault. See Secrets for details.
Required Fields
| Field | Secret? | Description |
|---|---|---|
opsgenie_api_key |
Yes | Opsgenie API integration key |
opsgenie_api_url |
No | (Optional) https://api.opsgenie.com (default, US) or https://api.eu.opsgenie.com (EU) |
opsgenie_request_timeout |
No | (Optional) Per-request timeout in seconds (default 60) |
Setup Steps
- In Opsgenie, go to Settings → Integrations and add an API
integration named
SubImage. Create it at the account level, not under a team: a team integration cannot read account-wide users and schedules. - In the integration settings:
- Turn Limit to Read-Only Access on.
- Turn Restrict Access to Configurations off. Users, teams, and schedules are configuration data, so a restricted key is refused.
- Save the integration and copy its API key into SubImage.
- If your Opsgenie account is in the EU region, set
opsgenie_api_urltohttps://api.eu.opsgenie.com.
Notes
- The sync is read-only.
- Who is currently on call is not stored, because it changes on every rotation. Schedules, the teams that own them, and team membership are.
Troubleshooting
- Opsgenie Unauthorized: the key is wrong or the integration was deleted. An EU account with the default US URL also fails this way.
- Opsgenie Forbidden: the integration is team-scoped or has Restrict Access to Configurations turned on.
